When I meditate, I visualize a set of stairs like this when I am getting myself deeper and deeper into meditation. With every step downward, I sink further. I visualize the feeling of the water as I step down, creeping further and further up my body with each stair. When I am completely submerged, the cold and comfortable tingling feeling of the water has engulfed my entire body, and I am deep into my meditation.
